Esther ministry is the social wing of Grace Ministry in Mangalore introduced by Sis Hanna Richard to Provide encouragement, comfort, and support for old aged women and widows in India.

How did this all start?

During her young age when Sis Hanna was on her way to school, she used to see large number of old age women's sitting in the scorched sun having no shelter and food, but once when Hanna asked old women about how you are running your daily life they replied “We are alive because of INDIRA GANDHI, every month she is providing us pensions through which we are able to survive” and this statement brought a great dream and vision into Sis Hanna life.

Her vision of helping the old aged and widows turned into reality when she launched a unit called “ESTHER WOMEN'S WELFARE MINISTRY" where more than 100 old aged and widows are been taken care with love, encouragement, comfort and support on every month.

Sis. Hanna attends each woman with love and affection, understands individual’s problem, consoles them, and realizes their needs.

The Esther Women’s Ministry Home extends the helping and supporting hand in uplifting and the empowerment of the downtrodden, handicapped, poor, dumb, deaf, abandoned woman. As an initiative, the Home provides food, clothing and possible monetary to all woman at Esther Home. More importantly, the kind touch, the love, and the affection have made these women live a simple, peaceful and happy life. The contribution of Sis. Hanna and Grace Ministry towards humanity have really made their vision of ‘Serving God’ come true.

Sis. Hanna and Grace Ministry welcome people to understand this truth and the simplicity and importance of life behind the modern life with intricacy.
