Daily Devotion - JESUS: GOD of second chances.

  Everything that we are and everything that we possess belongs to God. Our life is a gift from him, the very breath we take is from him. To think for a moment that we have achieved something by ourselves is a lie, as he is the reason behind every good thing in our life.

As children of GOD it is very important for us to understand that our life was bought at a price so precious, a price that was paid in blood by our God Jesus Christ. HE has given us a second chance at life, HE makes our mess a message, and changes victims to victors.

Our body and spirit belong to him, every day and every minute of our life we must lay ourselves down completely before him. When we realize the value God had to pay for us and acknowledge the pain he had to bear so that we could live a good life, forgiven and redeemed; we will observe that our habits change, and we will start valuing the time God has given us on this earth, we will learn the joy of giving, and we will prioritize the need to take care of our body and mind.

The bible tells us that our body is the temple of the holy spirit, the same spirit which rose Christ from death resides within us. hence we have the power to bring back to life, everything that is dead, be it dead finances, dead emotions, lack of mental strength, or lack of hope, HE can bring it all back to life, and make everything new through the holy spirit of God who dwells in us.

Let us meditate on these words today as GOD reveals to us the power that he has anointed us with, and let HIM bring our dry bones back to life.
