The Season 2 of the Valachil Premier League Jersey launch was held on 28th February 2016 at Yashaswi Hall in Mangaluru and the program was solely sponsored by the M.S.K. group.
M.S.K. group is the stronghold of 6 dynamite young personalities and this organization is well known for their strength in helping the poor. They are Mr.Shameer Shan, Mr.Kamal, Mr.Mallick, Mr.Kabir, Mr.Sajid and Mr.Shameer Karnar.
The event commenced at 7:00 PM and it was colourful extravaganza for the Jersey Launch which constituted on the lines of the famous Indian Premier League in India.
The event was presided by Mr.Mohammad Shareef Rawchor – Circle police inspector, Kankanady Rural police station, Mangalore.
In his address, the officer stressed the need for the youth to stay away from drugs which was a curse on the society and that the youth should face the society and its progress. The other point he focussed was on the use of electronic gadgets which has been on the rise even among young children and thus the taste of book reading is fast losing its value.
The other dignitary for the event was Bro Andrew Richard – Founder & Director of Grace Ministry (Reg). In his address to the gathering, he stressed on the point of involvement in sports and stated that the youth should be encouraged strongly in the field of sports. This will help them to keep away from the negative approaches in life.
He encouraged the youth to take up every opportunity that they come across in sports and not let go of such chances in their lives. The most important factor was that the youth should never misuse the field of sports.
Mr. Abdul Samad - Member of Taluk Panchayath Mangalore, Mr. Ismail – KEL fish merchant, Mr. Pradeep Kumar – Proprietor of Yashaswi & Vaibhav hall, Mr. Umar Farook - Ex-member of Zilla Panchayath, Mohammad Valachilpaduv, Mr. Sahul Hameed, Mr. Habeeb Rahiman, and many others were part of this prestigious sports event.
