1 Peter 5:6-7 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you

In the midst of life’s challenges and burdens, as well as those moments of glad grace and blessings; Paul reminds us to humble ourselves under the mighty comforting hand of God, casting all our cares upon Him; So that in our due time, He will exalt us because He cares for us

As a part of our human quality, we tend to carry our worries and anxieties on our own shoulders. We feel burdened when we share our problems often adding to the worries. But God invites us to cast all our burdens into His capable and mighty hands. He desires to carry our cares and burdens and in turn, give us peace and comfort.


In theory, casting our cares is easier to say; but in actuality, it is an act of submission, faith and humility. By casting our cares we acknowledge our limitations and appreciate the divinity of God as our ultimate source of strength

Whatever hardships that may be in your life; surrender them to the Lord, as He is your Father in heaven. Do not feel humiliated when doing so this day, but be proud and confident for He who is for you is greater than what is against you.
