“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation but take courage; I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33

Being at peace is an important aspect of a happy life. We may have heard different ideas from the world on how to attain peace. The Bible in Galatians 5:23 points out ‘Peace’ as a fruit of the Holy Spirit. If we have the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives, we will have peace in our hearts.

Let us stop for a moment and evaluate if we have peace in our lives. There may be nights that we are unable to sleep because our minds are battling thoughts of our insecure future, health issues in the family, fear, career issues or failure. We don’t have to dwell in our pain and sorrow alone. Our Lord Jesus is the ‘Prince of Peace‘. Let us invite Him in those moments into our hearts and call on His name for support. Our Lord Jesus will come and saves us out of that situation. He is truly our savior.

Let us draw our strength from the words that the Lord Jesus has spoken. We can bring His word to life in every aspect of our lives. Once His word comes to life in our lives, we will have peace and we will have courage during tribulations. Our Lord Jesus has overcome every tribulation, pain, sorrow, disease, and every situation that can harm us in this world.

Let us meditate on these words from our Lord Jesus and claim them in our lives.

I have spoken to you things, so that you can have peace.
In the world, you will have tribulations but take courage.
I have overcome the world.
Today, let us move into those challenging situations in our lives and speak the peace of Our Lord Jesus into our hearts and move courageously into victory.

Lord Jesus is our Peace. Jehovah Shalom !!
